CDL SKILLS TEST PREP
(1 – 7 hours)
“Series 1” has been developed for the driver who:
Has previous CMV driving experience and/or has allowed their CDL endorsement to lapse
Has been provided with employer-sponsored or self-training and preparation for the State Skills Test
Note: Most states have recently modified the criteria for the test process
Some employers have not been updated on the test criteria modifications, or don’t have the time or expertise to assist you in successful “Skills Test” preparation. We are here to help you!
All training is on a “one-on-one” basis with our instructors giving you their personal attention. This program can be scheduled on an hourly basis: review your needs with our staff to determine the best options for you. No classroom training is offered for “Series 1”.
Training can be coordinated with a state certified third party test facility for the Skill Test. Passing of the state-administered test, of course, will be dependent upon the actual extent of previous training/experience and preparation by the “applicant”, their skills and ability, and attitude or behavior during the test.
FCG Truck Driver Training School has State-licensed instructors to support you with individual segments of the test if you desire additional assistance, including vehicle inspection, basic control skills and on-road driving.

Program Requirements
At least 18 years of age
Hold a current and valid “Operator’s” license
Ability to take and pass a State “Written Test” to obtain a Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP)
Meet all physical and criminal requirements specified of F.M.C.S.A. D.O.T. regulations
